Alltel has officially declared that it will be carrying the freshly launched LG Glimmer, although it will be called the AX830. Starting with a large 2.8" WQVGA (240x400 pixel) touchscreen display, the AX830 is a slider handset with good deal of features. A 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording is on board for capturing the moment, while the microSD card slot guarantees you have plenty of space to store your memories.
This dual band CDMA (800/1900MHz) handset provides quick data speeds thanks to EV-DO support. Bluetooth 2.1 is also available, with A2DP support for stereo headsets. A 3.5mm headset adapter is also included in the package, making the AX830 well-equipped for music enjoyment.
The LG AX830 Glimmer is expected to be availabl online and through Alltel retail stores on March 13th, with pricing set at $249.99 with 2-year commitment and rebates.
